Reviving the name of a 1990's MTV alternative rock show, BUZZCUTS gathers 18 giant hits from the post-Nirvana modern rock landscape. While the focus here is mostly on edgy guitar rock, the compilation mixes it up quite well. The offerings range from the surf-reggae of 311 to the power pop of Everclear to the relentless nu-metal of Papa Roach to the post-grunge of Creed to the infectiously droning rock of Our Lady Peace.
